Tribe, Native American people of northern California Living in the foothills of central California, the Maidu tribe embraced an ecological way of life. They built their houses using the pine bark bestowed on them by nature. The coarse bark texture of these trees served as the inspiration for this 100% cotton fabric in shades of off-white and natural.
